She was born and raised in a traditional Mexican Catholic family and is fluent in Spanish. Adriana has two beautiful children, a daughter, Isabelle and a son, Felix. Her family attend Family Catechesis classes regularly and Adriana volunteers for Family Catechesis as well. SHe previously worked within the local public school system for five years. Adriana feels blessed to be part of the Cathedral office staff and looks forward with great joy to serve as Parish Secretary. |

Brian BraquetDirector of Sacred Music & Divine Worship| Ext. 114 | E-mail: bbraquet@thecathedral.infoBrian Braquet has been Director of Sacred Music and Divine Worship at the Cathedral ofthe Immaculate Conception since 1987.Brian began playing the organ for Mass in the 5th grade at Assumption Catholic School in Beaumont, Texas; he graduated from Monsignor Kelly High School and received his Bachelor of Music Degree in 1976 from North Texas State University in Denton.He received his Master of Music Degree from Lamar University and served as Director of Music and Worship at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Beaumont from 1980-1982. In 1983, Brian served as director of Music and Worship at St. Philip Catholic Church in Lewisville, Texas.Brian and his wife Dianna have three “kids”: Liz, Katie & Brian, and two grandchildren,Bailey and Braiden.

Patrick CunninghamBusiness Manager | Ext. 131 | E-mail: pcunningham@thecathedral.infoPatrick Cunningham comes to the Cathedral with over 25 years in the business world, mostly as a salesman for a variety of companies including office equipment, sports publisher, incentive marketing, and high-end automobiles. Patrick grew up the oldest of 8 children in Midwestern Kansas and graduated from Benedictine College in Atchison Kansas with a BA in Business Administration. He has been married to Cynthia Cunningham for over 20 years and has lived in Tyler for 10 of those. Patrick and Cynthia have been involved in the parish in various roles over the years including extraordinary ministers, lectors, TOOL, and Pastoral Council. They have three boys that have attended both St Gregory and Bishop Gorman Schools and have been altar servers since they were in the 4th grade. “I am both humbled and excited to be chosen by Father Hank and Bishop Joe to fill this position. I can’t think of a better job in life than serving not only the Catholic community here at the Cathedral pa sh, but to also serve the communities of our diocese in East Texas. “

In 1974 she graduated from Central Arizona College with an Associate Degree in Business Administration. She has been married to her husband Michael since 1975. After Michael retired from the Air Force in 1992, they relocated to Whitehouse. They have three daughters, three grandsons and one granddaughter. Priscilla previously worked for the Catholic Church from 1988 thru 1999 in California and Texas. Then she worked for a local CPA firm as an administrative assistant for 13 years. She hopes to serve the Cathedral parish for many more years. |
Jerri NegemAssistant Finance Coordiantor | Ext. 126 | E-mail: negem@tyler.netJeri always lived in Tyler and was raised protestant. She converted to Catholicism in 1987. JEri has been married to Ernest Negem since 1985. THey have 2 children, Eric & Brad who are both graduates of TK Gorman. She has been employed part-time at the Cathedral Office since Sept. 2003 as Assistant Finance Officer. Jeri love meeting and helping people. |

Bertha was married to Manuel Garay who passed away in 1995. They had three sons and one daughter. Bertha began emplyment with the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in 1996. She is in charge of the Sacramental Records. |

Peggy HammettFormation | Ext. 119 | E-mail:phammett@thecathedral.infoPeggy Hammett has been a part of the faith formation team at the Cathedral since 1996. She has a deep love for the Sacraments and served in the Cathedral for many years as Director of Sacramental Formation prior to becoming Director of Faith Formation in 2010. Her son Sgt. Chad Hammett is serving in the USAF inNorth Carolinawhere he lives with his lovely wife Adriana and two awesome sons, Ayden and Felix. While Peggy grew up in Erie,PA, she was blessed to be able to raise ChadinEast Texas. Prior to coming to the Cathedral, Peggy had served as DRE at St. Jude's in Henderson. Peggy has a diverse educational background coming from an artistic background she latter completed the four year college level theology program offered in Tyler by the University of Dallas and in December 2011 will receive her certification for completing the John Paul II Formation Program at the graduate theology level. Peggy is an Associate Member of the Society for Catholic Liturgy, a member of the Association of Consultants for Liturgical Space, a member of the Diocesan Liturgical Commission, a member of the Diocesan Christian Initiation Team and serves on the Diocesan Advisory Committee for Faith Formation. |

She immigrated with her family to Tyler, Texas in August 1978. She and her family have been parishioners of the Cathedral since that time. Mariela graduated from Tyler Junior College with an Associate Degree in 1991. She has been married to Angel Gonzalez since 1993. They have 3 daughters. Mariela has been involved in catechesis since 2000 when she began as a volunteer catechist. She began working part time for the Cathedral in 2010 and began full time work in January 2015. Mariela looks forward to serving the families in the Family Catechesis program. |

Her goal is to serve with commitment and humility. She feels very blessed being part of this community and now as part of the Faith Formation team. |

Austin State University with a Bachelor of Arts and from the University of Dallas with a Masters of Pastoral Ministry. Her past experiences have been teaching at a public school at high school level and also as an Assistant to Coordinator for Catechesis at the Chancery in the Diocese of Tyler. She serves at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception as Faith Formation leader. Teresa enjoys listening to music, traveling and spending time with her family. |

Emmafae MortegaDirector of Youth Ministry | Ext. 120 | E-mail: emortega@thecathedral.infoI'm Emmafae Mortega, the newest Tyler resident from Mineola, TX! Growing up, I was an altar server and volunteered in my home parish at St. Peter's Catholic Church. I continued to share my love of service in Texas Tech University at St. Elizabeth's University Parish through various groups like Raider Awakening, Chi Rho, DYRT, and Women of Faith and a dancer of the TTU hip hop team. In 2015, I graduated with a Bachelor of Science with honors in Speech Language Hearing Sciences. Since then, I've been certified speech therapist assistant in New Mexico and Texas as well as a dance coach for Hobbs High School and Dance Dimensions in Mineola. I'm excited to start my new journey as the youth minister and hope to meet and serve the many families here! God bless! |
